Summer Classics and Gabby are sister brands under the umbrella of Gabriella White Inc.

Summer Classics

Summer Classics has long been a premier manufacturer of luxury outdoor furniture with timeless materials including grade-A teak, aluminum, resin wicker, and a patented N-Dura wood.

The company was founded in the 1970’s by Bew White in Pelham, AL and formally became Summer Classics in 1987.

All outdoor cushions are manufactured in Pelham, AL. The patented Dream cushion includes a foam core encased in a water-resistant jacket, topped with pillow-top, and wrapped in a UV-resistant performance fabric (Sunbrella or equivalent).

Gabby

Gabby was founded in 2010 by William White. This interior line of furniture includes distinctive, custom-made case goods and upholstery for every room in the home.

Originally, the brand was only available to designers (“to-the-trade”), where it garnered a large following. The products were made available to retail customers just a few years ago.

In 2019, the company purchased Stanford Furniture. All upholstery is now manufactured at the former Stanford plant in Claremont, NC.

OUR STORE

The Richmond showroom on 7905 W Broad St was opened in 2008 as Summer Classics Home.

In 2020, the store successfully transitioned to a licensee model and is now locally owned.

In 2023, all Summer Classics retail stores were rebranded to Gabby and Summer Classics, updating the name to reflect dual offerings (the stores have offered both brands for years).

As of 2025, the Richmond store is one of 20 Gabby and Summer Classics retail stores in the U.S. Five of these stores are locally owned and managed.
